hi!

Youth

what is the

Upper Room

Upper Room is Fair Haven’s ministry for students in grades 6-12.

Upper Room is a safe place to learn who Jesus really is. The mission statement of our youth ministry is to: KNOW JESUS, LOVE JESUS, and BE JESUS. That’s exactly what we strive to do. Every week we will teach students about who Jesus is so that they may develop a knowledge of their savior that is so deep that they begin to love him with all of their heart. When a love that deep develops, students will be moved to be His hands and feet with all that they are.

Join us for one of our gatherings this Sunday!

Sunday Morning || 9:45am
We have classes for 6-8th grade and 9-12th in the classrooms upstairs. Here we dive deep into scripture and figure out what the Bible really says.
Summer Nights
During the summer High School and Middle School meet on different nights of the week from time to time throughout the summer. High School meets on Sunday Nights from 7-8:30 and Middle School meets on Wednesday nights from 7-8:30. Check out the schedules below to know when we’ll be meeting!
Sunday Nights
Sunday Nights we have our main programming for both Middle school and High school. Each group meets at their own time so they can have teaching that is built just for them and so that one group is never overpowering the other. This is what the schedule looks like now:

Middle School || 5:00-7:00
The first thirty minutes of the night are just a time for students to hang out with each other. We have a lot of games and activities for kids, we have 9 square in the air, gaga ball, carpetball, ping pong, and a whole bunch of board games. At 5:30 we have our main programming which includes worship lead by the student band and focused teaching. At 6:30 they break up into small groups for discussion.

High School Programming || 6:30-8:30
The first thirty minutes of the high school programming is just free time where students can play games and hang out with their friends and make new ones. At 7 we begin the main programming for high school students which includes: worship lead by the student band, focused teaching, and small group time.

Snack Bar
We have a snack bar upstairs where students can purchase snacks during the hang out time of their programming. We aren’t looking to make money off of this we just want to be able to restock. We also have punch cards available for those who don’t want to have to bring money each week. Punch cards are worth $10 and can be left at the snack bar if a student chooses to do so.
